Action mit fünf hochexplosiven Extraminuten.

Um einen Waffendeal in Somalia zu verhindern, befreien die Elitesöldner um Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) den Ex-Kollegen Doc (Wesley Snipes) aus dem Knast. Vor Ort staunt die Truppe nicht schlecht, als plötzlich der tot geglaubte Expendables-Mitbegründer Stonebanks (Mel Gibson) als Drahtzieher auftaucht. Bei einem Feuergefecht schießt der Verräter einen von Barneys Männern ins Koma und entkommt…

Zweite Fortsetzung der Oldschool-Ballerorgie. Geliftete Actionherren, die platte Sprüche vom Stapel lassen – das hätte in die Hose gehen können. Zum Glück ist das Bleigewitter mit ausreichend Ironie ausgestattet. Ernst nehmen darf man das nicht, dann macht die Krachwummorgie richtig Laune.
