I’m 3 weeks postpartum .. I randomly get this feeling that my face is on fire and I look in the mirror and my cheeks and ears are bright red. This has happened a handful of times but tonight it was pretty crazy. My face and ears are so hot! I checked my BP, temp, and heart rate and it’s not that. I do have an appointment with an endocrinologist on Monday for a suspected hyperactive thyroid .. but has anyone else have this happen to them?

This is definitely a symptom of hyperthyroid disease! I’m sorry. I’m just through the worst of my thyroid storm today. My advice,the best advice is to find a doctor that will help you with medicine and diet wise! Look up the thyroid diet.

did this happen postpartum to you? It is literally the craziest feeling I have ever had in my life .. OBGYN told me I had postpartum anxiety and I made them check my thyroid after doing research online and my levels came out low .. I literally feel like I’m dying at times !! Please tell me this won’t last for long �� I see the doctor tomorrow
