About
Prairie Sushi Restaurant offers a wide variety of sushi, rolls, appetizers, rice and noodle dishes. However, there is a lingering odor in the restaurant which resembles a minor gas leak that despite their attempts to resolve it, remains unresolved. Despite this issue, Prairie Sushi is known for being the best sushi establishment in Grande Prairie with exceptional service and friendly staff. The prices are reasonable, portions generous and the restaurant maintains high cleanliness standards.
Why you should go
- Generous portions of high-quality sushi
- Friendly and welcoming staff

Had a wonderful evening out with our friends. The waiter Joey was hilarious and food was yummy! Even let him pick my sushi selection to surprise me! Thank you, will be back!
Had a chance to try many Japanese places in Grande Prairie. This place is definitely one of the top Japanese restaurants in the city.Went there 4 times in 3 weeks since our first visit. The price is not expensive for the quality of food you will get.Rolls have good quality ingredients and we love Soft Clam in our Spider rolls.Chirashi sushi is recommended if you enjoy raw fish. The amount of sashimi is just right and worth the relatively high price dishes. We also tried Yakisoba and found that we could use some more beef in the dish but the taste is good.
Not bad fried rice, but my go to is always the eels (unagi). Yummo 😋I have never dined in TBH, always only take out or deliver to our hotel whenever we are in GP.

One of the best seafood miso soups ever , it’s so hard to find a normal portion of miso especially with seafood , not the tiny bowl thing which is everywhere. Totally enjoyed my shrimp tempura and the sushi roll , huge portions and very friendly people work in here.
Best Sushi in Grande Prairie Bar Non. Best Service and so friendly. I tried other Establishments but kept coming back to Prairie Sushi. Pricing is realistic, food portions are huge and very clean restaurant.
