Does Arma 3 have anti cheat? ›

BattlEye is an anti-cheat tool created by BattlEye Innovations. It is currently included in Bohemia Interactive's Arma, Arma 2 and Arma 3 series as an optional installation and server configuration option.

Arma 3 is a realistic tactical shooter featuring accurate and deadly weapons that are heavily affected by external ballistics and recoil. Gameplay is set on expansive maps (officially "terrains") featuring photorealistic land and water environments that can cover hundreds of square kilometers of ground.

When focusing on the main objectives, ARMA 3 is about 19 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 112 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

8 GB is the absolute minimum to run Arma III. You should be able to get 60 FPS while on foot. However, when you get in a vehicle, helicopter, or a jet, you will begin to see your FPS drop, depending on your view distance.

The mod/admin of the server can ban you for any reason. You can still go to other servers.

It depends on how realistic you want it. If you understand some pretty basic aspects of the game like movement or orientation, you can play an "arcade mode" by setting the difficulty lower. I'd say ArmA 3 is hard to play if you want it to be as close to real life as possible.

Also Arma is CPU heavy and not GPU you can put RTX 3000 it woudn't change mutch. 2. I am usually playing this game with my friends/Unit with 30-40 mods and have like 40-50 FPS on Normal Settings.

In the Arma 3 Generic profile documentation it suggests that Battleye is optional. At least the first three ports need to be port forwarded (if you're on a NAT network). Also forward the BattlEye port if using BattlEye on the server.

People cheat all the time. It's nothing new and certainly not the first time its happened in Arma. But like everyone said, It's probably to do with rendering. Sitting in a bush can often be less effective then other things.
